Job Summary
The Production Scheduler will create, optimize, and manage interdepartmental scheduling in coordination with the overall master schedule based on United Rotorcrafts business priorities and projects. Works closely with department managers, production planners and manufacturing engineers to schedule production requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Create, optimize, and maintain production schedules utilizing the ERP system (Visual A&D)
- Develop/generate project health report utilizing the ERP system, and other reporting methods, to track progress of our projects ensuring all demand has been driven, materials are available and scheduled appropriately
- Work closely with the Production Planners on the execution of the daily/weekly scheduling requirements
- Partner with other departments (planning and manufacturing engineers) to ensure system lead times are up to date/accurate to properly schedule the shops
- Work within the Scheduling Team to resolve scheduling conflicts as required
- Review and understand project requirements, drawings, and specifications, as needed, to ensure total lead times are accurate and accounted for
- Attend project kick off meetings to ensure a clear understanding of project scope is established
- Communicate to the PM/CSM group any additional demand requirements per the needs of the project
- Develop and report out metrics to detail project performance, status and other applicable KPIs
- Communicate scheduling conflicts that cannot be resolved to the Integrated Scheduling Manager
- Other Duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 to 7 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or 1 to 3 years scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Experience in aerospace environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for writing manufacturing procedures for shop use
- Scheduling experience preferred
