Job Title: Avionics Technician (Garmin) - Aurora, ORJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team, focusing on the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems in General Aviation aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Install full system avionic systems, primarily Garmin, as well as King, S-TEC autopilot systems, PSI Engineering intercom systems, Dynon, and Advanced Systems.
- Build harnesses for all avionic systems from Garmin, King, S-TEC autopilot, Dynon, and intercom systems.
- Remove outdated avionic systems and integrate current aviation systems into aircraft.
- Perform VFR and IFR tests.
Essential Skills- Experience in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems.
- Proficiency in wiring, layouts, and bench repair.
- Knowledge of airframe and electrical installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years of system install and basic harness build experience.
- Eligible for FAA DOT safety-sensitive hire.
- Garmin experience is highly preferred.
