Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, replace and perform functional checks
- Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural accessories
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, test equipment, machines and components.
- Research, understand and adhere to technical data relevant to assigned task
- Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed.
- Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
- Coordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standards.
- Maintain the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or an Equivalent
- Proficient in the English language, written and verbal
- Must be available to work occasional overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Experience working with electrical systems is preferred (aviation electrical system experience considered first)
Skills and Abilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Basic arithmetic
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
Physical Requirements:
- Bend, twist, reach, and stretch with body, arms and legs.
- Manual and finger dexterity.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods of time
- This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.
