Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop avionics systems and equipment for aircraft
- Conduct flight tests to ensure that the avionics systems are safe and reliable
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to integrate avionics systems with other aircraft systems
- Ensure that avionics systems meet the required standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with avionics systems
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in designing and developing avionics systems for aircraft
- Knowledge of flight controls and aircraft systems
- Experience with radar and avionics equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with flight testing and certification of avionics systems
- Experience with software development for avionics systems
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and certification processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Skills:
Expertise in avionics systems, flight controls, and aircraft systems to design and develop safe and reliable avionics systems for aircraft.
Knowledge of radar and avionics equipment to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with avionics systems. I
Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to integrate avionics systems with other aircraft systems and ensure that they meet the required standards and regulations.
