Innovate to solve the worlds most important challengesAs a Chemical Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading the chemical and process engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, implementation, and infrastructure maintenance of these disciplines for UOP licensed process units. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywells projects and operations.
You will report directly to our Director of Technology and Control Solutions and youll work out of our Tulsa, Ok location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our Callidus, Russell and Gas Processing projects and operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of a highly skilled team of chemical engineers, optimizing work processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the execution of the process engineering deliverables for UOP Equipment projects, specifically for Callidus, Russell and Gas processing. • Support staffing, budgeting, forecasting and scheduling of Refining projects, aligned with the Senior Manager of Refining Operations. Effort compliance with man-hour budgets and schedules, as well as accurately reflecting project milestones monthly
• Oversee the development of process design for new and existing technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective and efficient execution of projects
• Collaborate with Technical sales engineers to develop an accurate and competitive cost estimate for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with other chemical managers nationally and globally to share resources, lessons learned and cross training.
- Drive improvements in UOPs technologies and work processes
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems - Build strong team by recruiting top talent, build succession, drive engagement, and promote inclusion and diversity.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in chemical/process engineering or related roles
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
