Honeywells Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS) team is looking for a talented engineer to work within our R&D Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, engineering processes, and working with cross-functional teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient execution of Honeywells Global Design Model (GDM), enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting collaboration within our R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:

 
KPI Management and Reporting:
• Assist with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and STRAP planning and execution.
• Provide monthly reports on R&D KPIs and develop action plans for areas needing attention.

Project Management:
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of operations-related projects and initiatives.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Track progress and resolve any emerging issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Coordinate activities among R&D, product management, and other key stakeholders.
• Foster communication and collaboration to ensure alignment with R&D organizational goals.

Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for enhancing engineering operations and implement best practices.
• Develop and refine processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver project status updates to management and stakeholders.

Risk Management:
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and engineering standards.

MUST HAVE:
• A bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical or project management within an R&D environment.
• Strong understanding of R&D operations and methodologies.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Office 365).

WE VALUE:
• Knowledge of PPM tools like Accolade, Cora, etc.
• Prior experience working with Chemical /Petrochemical/Gas Manufacturing or Process Engineering
• Cross Functional program management experience
• Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
