Job Description:
We are now looking for a Supply Chain Business Improver for our GBS.
Within Procurement Operations, PIX is the owner of Control Supplier Methods & Processes and ensures the link to other functions such as E, B, S, Q, with general aim to develop/improve/optimize the way Airbus is controlling its supply chain.
Responsibilities - your mission:
Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000.
Position Summary:
Business improver position to support PIX team (Control Supplier) and entire Supply Chain & Logistic organization with compliance check related activities and risks analysis.
Essential Functions:
Support SCQM in securing that Release Certificate are properly kept up to date in the relevant database(s)
Perform random Supplier Control review quality check and prepare administrative Supplier Control Reviews
Support PIX team in analysing Process Performance Indicators and proposing improvement actions plans
Analyse Suppliers master data evolutions and launch appropriate measures to identify impacts in tools to secure business continuity and compliance with data management rules
Monitor progress of questionnaires/surveys sent to Suppliers and launch appropriate actions
Additional Responsibilities:
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
Digital background
Past experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement, including Process management aspect
Knowledge of Part21G and/or EN9100 desirable
Communication and Change management skills
Ability to write emails in English, to communicate on the phone or via emails with suppliers and Airbus employees
Be customer focused, understand priorities &61; knows how to priorities in case of emergencies
Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
A degree in Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluency in English sufficient to fully engage in negotiations
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Able to travel domestically and internationally when needed
Shows a lot of rigor and concentration at work
