Job Title: CNC Technician - Hiring Urgently!! Job Description
This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a leading Aviation manufacturing facility. The role involves setting up and operating machinery, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and supporting departmental performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines, including tool changes, according to instructions and specifications.
- Place and secure tooling using clamps and wrenches.
- Calculate material removal from parts.
- Set gages to measure OD, ID, 3pt race, and offset.
- Adjust necessary controls to regulate machines.
- Follow all plant safety regulations.
- Learn and operate multiple machines.
- Perform other machining duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to sign off paperwork to maintain job accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work safely and wear personal protective equipment.
- Perform inspections and take responsibility for work quality.
- Use and read micrometers, calipers, and measurement gauges.
- Ability to read, write, and speak proficiently.
- Work independently in a high-stress environment.
- Ability to determine whether machinery is working properly based on specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Competence in general math.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pass a near vision eye test to Jaeger 1 and a color perception test.
- Physical ability to move/lift up to 50lbs, bend, stretch, and climb.

Work Environment
Work on a climate-controlled factory floor with small amounts of machine noise. The dress code is business casual, with a requirement to wear a blue coat in the work area. The position requires flexibility to train on 1st shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm) for 3 months before moving to 2nd (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm) or 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am). Steel-toe shoes are required. All tools are provided, and the role is regulated, requiring random drug testing.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
