Morson Edge are recruiting for Mechanical Technicians to support F-35 aircraft maintenance at RAF Marham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the most advanced aircraft platforms in service, within a highly regulated Aerospace maintenance environment.

You will carry out a range of maintenance activities on F-35 aircraft and components, working in accordance with approved technical documentation and Part 145 requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions and the flexibility to work within a dynamic operational team.

• Carry out maintenance activities in line with approved technical information and risk assessments
• Perform inspections, repairs, modifications, removals, replacements and system testing
• Complete maintenance documentation and maintain accurate airworthiness records
• Identify issues, compile reports and escalate where required
• Comply with MOE procedures, company standards and regulatory requirements
• Apply Human Factors and Error Management principles
• Support both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including diagnostics

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Part 145 environment
• Experience working on military aircraft programmes
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and documentation
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Logbook demonstrating currency, recency and breadth of experience

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (Aeronautical or equivalent)
• Minimum City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering & Maintenance (or equivalent military qualification)
