Job Title: Microelectronics Assembler
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This exciting contract opportunity offers potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this role provides a great chance to grow in a hands-on position. You will play a key part in assembling and testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products by following work instructions and drawings.
- Utilize microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
- Read and interpret assembly process and work instructions effectively.
- Work with components that vary in size from microscopic to large, which may require visual magnification.
- Use various hand tools, such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters, as well as pneumatic tools like torque drivers and screwdrivers.
- Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
- Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in assembly, soldering, and production processes.
- Experience in electronic assembly and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Interim Secret clearance required to start; clearance process begins at offer stage.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
- Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
- Strong work ethic with a reputation for punctuality and reliability.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment
The position operates on a day shift, full-time basis from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime. You will work in a collaborative environment equipped with advanced tools and technologies.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
