Description:You will be the Construction Manager (Level 4) for the Construction Management Team. Our team is responsible for the oversight and execution of facility construction activity at the Grand Prairie, Texas MFC facility, including renovation, expansion, and new construction.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Construction Manager (Level 4) you will be responsible for leading construction projects that deliver safe, compliant, and on‑time facilities.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and execute facility construction projects from concept through final completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders for access and equipment.
- Manage contracts, financials, invoicing, and performance of contractors/subcontractors.
- Conduct periodic and final inspections to ensure quality, code compliance, and user acceptance.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure equipment asset management compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, construction management or similar discipline and 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction project/program management or equivalent experience/combined education with 13 years total professional project management experience.
• excellent verbal and written communications skills and including the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, management and diverse populations.
• Understanding of laboratory, factory/manufacturing/assembly, and office space requirements.
• Construction skills which includes managing and negotiating with general contractors and/or subcontractors.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to include: project schedule, scope, cost, risk and deliverables.
• Experience providing high quality customer service.
• Proven project management skills and strong organizational and time management skills including ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Desired Skills:
• Large facility construction project and design experience.
• Understanding Equipment commissioning.
• Proficient in ms office software programs including PowerPoint excel word outlook and project.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and maintaining outline milestone and detailed ghant chart schedules.
• Experience facilitating utility service provider design and installation.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
