The Delivery Leader will ensure a seamless coordination and execution of customer requirements for make and buy parts across the Tubes & Ducts Part Family (TDPF) This will be achieved through: 1. driving increased alignment between supply constraint and customer demand 2. supporting the planning & execution of manufacturing strategies resulting in on time delivery 3. defining inventory & logistic strategy based on customer variation + supply lead time / reliability. Roles & Responsibilities
Alignment of Supply constraint and customer demand:
This is focal role for parts family delivery and will be working with Site delivery leader to ensure we are achieving weekly, Monthly & Quarterly CTB
• Maintain alignment of supply constraint at lead time as input into S&OP process.
• Drive make shop & supplier readiness process to ensure demonstrated supply capability to meet mid/long term demand.
Support Rough Cut Capacity Plan process ensuring people, machine, and material capability at lead time.
Assess supplier demand allocation to ensure balance of supply continuity and lead time optimization.
Accountable to create, train, support, and improve delivery & inventory management processes.
Production planning and execution:
Define and reinforce replenishment strategy based on Supply Chain condition: level, pull, MTO, push.
Standardize production planning process methodology to achieve of customer Takt efficiently.
Provide market intelligence to anticipate variation and volatility of actual demand vs consumption.
Lead escalation support and problem solving where OOT gap exists through Q&D Partnership Plan.
Coach plant operations in cell level delivery and inventory KPI application resulting in Tier IV results.
Inventory planning and logistic strategy:
Determine optimal inventory strategy and application at each step across the extended supply chain.
Stabilize indirect raw material planning and consumption processes within supplier lead time.
Optimize logistic flows driving balance of delivery lead time, frequency, and total logistic cost.
Coach use of PFEP optimizing logistic cost, delivery frequency, storage strategy, and inventory coverage.
Accountable for setting and meeting part family inventory days and logistic costs vs budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma/ GED with 4 years of Manufacturing experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in materials, production planning, or business management.
