What You Will Do

Facilities Management construction project manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of a construction project, in the safest construction environment, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications by coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, while managing resources, quality control, and resolving any issues that may arise throughout the construction process. Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists. Select subcontractors and schedule and coordinate their activities. Monitor projects and report progress and budget matters to the senior leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.

• Lead expense and capital funded projects and Manage MOC’s, RFQ’s, RFI’s, Contractor Coordinator (JSA’s), PSSR’s, etc.

• Support construction projects in and outdoors and maintain budgets for expense projects, support capital project budget maintenance

• Maintain a project schedule in an excel worksheet and/or MS Project.

• Support/active participant in weekly team meetings and maintain well organized records of all projects in process

• Plan and develop project scope, manage construction projects in the safest environment and create and lead a team

• Monitor project progress and set deadlines / milestones, overcome obstacles that arise (conflict resolution) and manage the project budget

• Ensure stakeholder satisfaction, evaluate project performance and manage the PBC Planning & Zoning, Land Development Process

• Site Liaison for the RTX site land planning consultant. (Urban Design Kilday Studios)

• Manage the PBC P&Z, Bldg. Dept. Permitting process

• Site Liaison between the RTX WPB site and PBC Bldg. Department

• Manage/ oversite of the State of Florida Third Party Private Provider Inspector Process and manage the RTX WPB site annual visit with the PBC Property Appraisers Office

• Site Liaison between the RTX WPB site and PBC Property Appraisers Office

• Manage the Notice of Commencements for the RTX WPB site and manage / oversite of the F&S WPB Capital annual plan

• Site Liaison between the RTX WPB site and FM Global Representative (Bldg. Infrastructure)

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor degree

• 8 years of engineering, facilities, or construction experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of engineering, facilities, or construction experience.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Construction knowledge and experience

• Ability to communicate with tradespersons, customers, and management

• Knowledge of industrial facilities and process service equipment

• Knowledge of typical utility requirements and utility failures

• Experience managing contractors conducting work onsite

• Ability to use Microsoft Office products for daily work

• Experience with construction project management software (Procore, etc.)

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
