Roles and Responsibilities
- Focus on day-to-day domestic construction projects
- Conveys performance expectations to suppliers and may handle sensitive issues.
- Influence construction strategy for GE Aerospace.
- Focus and experience in industrial project management and complex construction projects.
- Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
- Drive cost out projects and initiatives with supply base.
- Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, construction contracts, master service agreements.
- Actively participate in large scale negotiations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with 3 plus years experience in Sourcing and/or Commodity Management
NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
