PURPOSE: The Lead, Crew Travel will be responsible for identifying flight crew travel requirements, making travel arrangements for flight crew members, and updating flight crew schedules with air travel, ground transportation, and hotel details. The Lead, Crew Travel will also ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the current day to end of the month schedule period and ensure all crew travel requirements have been identified
- Make travel arrangements for flight crew members to include air travel, ground transportation, and hotel nights as required.
- Update flight crew member schedules with air travel, ground transportation, and hotel details.
- Assist FCS during abnormal operations as needed to secure crew travel on short notice
- Maintain the hotel database in the flight management software
- Determine hotel priority in each city in coordination with Flight Operations, Inflight, and FP&A stakeholders
- Manage crew reviews of hotel properties and resolve complaints
- Manage crew bookings, including crew member assignment changes, to avoid excess charges
- Examine and recommend changes to improve the quality and efficiency of the crew travel process
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum one (1) year of travel arranging experience
- Experience in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Able to understand, speak, read, and write English fluently
X-FACTORS:
- Minimum one (1) year of 14 CFR 121 airline scheduling experience
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, etc.).
