The ideal candidate will have asolid background in leading R&D team, engineering processes, and workingwith cross-functional teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficientexecution of GDM, enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting collaborationwithin our R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities:
KPI Management and Reporting:
- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and STRAP planning and execution.
- Monitor and manage expenses for the R&D team.
- Provide monthly reports on R&D KPIs and develop action plans for areas needing attention.
Project Management:
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of operations-related projects and initiatives.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track progress and resolve any emerging issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate activities among R&D, product management, and other key stakeholders.
- Foster communication and collaboration to ensure alignment with R&D organizational goals.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for enhancing engineering operations and implement best practices.
- Develop and refine processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates to management and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and engineering standards.
The annual base salaryrange for this position is $170,000.00 - $213,000.00. Please note that this salaryinformation serves as a general guideline. MUST HAVE:
- A bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a masters degree would be preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in program or project management within an R&D environment.
- Strong understanding of R&D operations and methodologies.
- Prior experience working with Chemical /Petrochemical Manufacturing
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Office 365).
Preferred Skills and experience:
- Knowledge of PPM tools like Accolade, Cora, etc.
- Cross Functional program management experience
- Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
