None/Not RequiredUnder direct supervision the Assembly Operator performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Must be available to work a non-standard work week, Friday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Shifts are determined by business needs.
What You Will Do
- Assemble all types of electrical/mechanical assemblies and circuit boards in the construction of units/systems.
- Perform a variety of tasks in the movement, stocking and issuing of orders, parts and assemblies.
- Perform routine data analysis and identify readily evident and/or recurring problems such as defective components, siring errors, alignment, etc.
- Maintain records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform chemical handling and recycling functions.
- Works from written procedures and/or oral instructions. Work is usually repetitive and is performed under general supervision.
- Perform other duties as may be required.
- This is a non-standard work week position, based on business needs. Must be willing and able to work a non-standard work week, Friday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must pass new hire and process training.
- Must be willing and able to work a non-standard work week, Friday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Soldering experience preferred
- Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed.
