None/Not RequiredAs a key member of the Quality team, the Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in upholding the standards of our Quality Management System (QMS). This hands-on position provides real-time quality support across operations, ensuring that products and processes meet rigorous compliance and performance standards.
Core responsibilities include conducting in-depth quality analyses through audits, process walks, and continuous surveillance. The technician collaborates closely with Quality Engineers to address nonconforming materials, supporting root cause analysis and resolution. Additionally, the role contributes to the management of corrective actions, containment of suspect products, and implementation of quality improvements across the production environment.
This is a vital role for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about driving quality excellence and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do:
- Performs product/process audits and audit preparation through Monthly Floor Sweep, Process walks, Surveillance, and Certifications.
- Maintains product quality by enforcing quality policies & procedures .
- Coordinates containment activities with Quality Engineers.
- Completes investigations for Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Reviews and Approves First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
- Manages flow of non-conforming materials (NCMs) in accordance with site policies and procedures
- Creates and delivers IOS, 1st pc sheets, Quality Alerts, ect impacting the production floor
- Collaborates and communicates effectively
- In addition to these responsibilities, the QAT may be presented with opportunities to: build new and/or enhance existing systems, create and implement training curriculum, support company-wide or site-wide initiatives, provide input on updates to QMS Policies & Procedures, among other opportunities
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Moderate experience with hand tools and measuring equipment
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, customer specifications, purchase orders, written and verbal instructions as required
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and other project and engineering related software programs
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, ProductCenter PLM System
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
