AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - DISCOVER I 2025/2026 - Starting date 1 October 2025
We are looking for recent graduates ( GraduatesSpain ) from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background. The start of the internship will be in early October 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Internship Job Description:
Are you interested in making Airbus Defence products impacting less the environment? This vacant is the right for you!
You will be embedded in a department which will be works in reducing the content of hazardous substances in the design and calculating the environmental impact
Your tasks will be the following:
Review the processes used in the department and automate input/outputs by programming supporting tools.
Collaborate in the project management of substance replacement
Coordinate activities for simplifying and standardizing the processes
Support in the generation of environmental models and Life Cycle Activities
You will get the following knowledge:
Understanding of how design process and replacement process works in an industrial company
Understanding of environmental impact of products
Experience in managing stakeholders.
Understanding how project management works in an industrial company.
You will be using some of the following tools
Python or similar software for automation
UP for schedule management
Gabi for environmental analysis (LCA)
ARM for risks management
Required skills AirbusDiversity
As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Degree in aeronautical/industrial/environmental engineering with experience either in LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) or/and script/software development
Negotiation level in English. Any other language (Spanish, French, German) will be an advantage.
Knowledge on one of the following areas:
Software development
Chemistry
Aircraft Design
Flexible and able to negotiate requirements with different stakeholders
Project Management
Demosntrated capacity to work in a team
