Equipment Repair Technician II - MRO Support

Summary
The Equipment Repair Technician will work according to technical data, perform maintenance, repair and overhaul work on electronic aircraft components. Additionally, multiple product lines will be assigned for work.

These positions are subject to random drug testing. Successful candidate must be a United States citizen or possess the legal right to work in the U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•tWork according to technical data, perform maintenance, repair and overhaul work on electronic aircraft components.
•tEnsure work is completed in accordance with Turn-Around-Time (TAT) Requirements.
•tPerform area cleaning and maintenance as posted or required.
•tParticipate in shop audits as scheduled. Perform area cleaning and checklists as required.
•tParticipate in shop and facility Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.
•tMay be required by the Company to perform other tasks and/or learn new skills which are not included in the above description but are within the capabilities of the individual and, where necessary, training will be given.

•tAdheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
•tEvening/night hours may be required.
•tExtra hours may be required during business peaks.

Education and/or Experience
•tA High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required and
•tA minimum of three years of work experience in a related or similar field.

Knowledge/Skills
•tBasic mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
•tAbility to read Drawings and Schematics
•tAbility to use an oscilloscope, multimeters and various test equipment.
•tAbility to learn on the job
•tBasic computer skills in Word, Excel, etc

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
tNone

Preferred Skills :
•tExperience with blueprints and schematics
•tPast aerospace industry experience
•tExperience using schematics and component symbols
