Job Summary
The IT Support Technician provides day-to-day technical support to local users, ensuring the proper functioning of IT equipment, software, and network services. The role acts as a key technical liaison between end users and central IT teams while ensuring compliance with corporate IT standards and procedures.
Your activities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues related to hardware, software, networks, and messaging systems.
Monitor and follow up on support requests (tickets) until full resolution.
Act as the main technical point of contact between local users and central IT teams (Systems, Network, and Business Applications administrators).
Prepare, install, and configure workstations, IP phones, and other IT equipment using centralized deployment tools and procedures (e.g. SCCM, Intune).
Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates, patches, repairs, and replacement of faulty hardware components.
Manage the technical execution of small local IT projects in line with company standards and under IT management supervision.
Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
Manage stock of IT consumables.
Contribute to updating site-specific documentation and procedures for the global knowledge base.
Your profile
Solid knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Basic understanding of network architecture (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Proficient in office productivity tools (Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365).
Technical English skills for reading documentation and supporting software.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Organized and detail-oriented, particularly for ticket management, asset tracking, and documentation.
Ability to handle urgent incidents and work effectively under pressure.
Team-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
