Electronic Technologists perform installation, replacement, repair and troubleshooting maintenance of electric circuitry associated with production and facility equipment.
This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position
Responsibilities
- Hook up power, lighting and temperature controls (switch, lights, relays, etc.).
- Determine appropriate components, wire size, protective covering and wiring layout.
- Diagnose problems quickly to identify the causes of problems and determine effective courses of action to avoid extended periods of equipment downtime. Report serious trouble to Supervisor in a timely manner to expedite additional resources as needed.
- Order supplies as required.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Must have a Minnesota Journeyman’s License.
- Must understand Ohms Law, read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.
- Ability to work with advanced mathematics, all types of circuit drawings and test equipment.
- Training and/or experience working with the following:
- Programmable Logic Controllers
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Automation Controls
- Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
- Employees may be required to successfully complete location specific training to maintain eligibility for the position.

The annual base salary range for this position is $45.767/hour but there is a second shift premium ($1.10/hour) or third shift premium ($1.35/hour).
