Job Description:

Summary
Safran, the worlds 2nd largest aircraft equipment manufacturer, is seeking Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing aerospace components while maintaining high-quality standards, efficiencies, and safety protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Manufacturing Operations:
•tExecute repetitive assembly and hand operations on product delegated by leadership and/or due dates.
•tPerform simple setups and perform routine preventative maintenance.
•tProvide accurate labor, material, scrap, and process information.
•tIdentify and follow work instructions (ie. bill of materials, drawings, process sheets, and routings).
•tMust be able to perform at 65 efficiency without nonconformance
Tool Utilization:
•tUtilize specific hand tools, such as screwdrivers, rulers, calipers, wire strippers, hammers, wire cutters, and scales for assembly and hand operations, ensuring all equipment is safe for use based on general instructions.
•tVerify calibration of equipment and tooling.
•tMust clock 100 of time on site in time tracking software
Quality Assurance:
•tConduct inspections and quality checks to meet accuracy and precision standards.
•tDetect and report any unusual or defective conditions, such as quality issues or expired material.
Health/Safety/Environment and Continuous Improvement:
•tAdhere to plant safety rules.
•tParticipate in process improvement activities.
•tMaintain organizational standards within the respective workstation, line, and department. (i.e. 6S)
Team Collaboration:
•tCollaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes.
•tParticipate in daily production meetings.
•tBe willing to cross-train in other areas as needed.
Attendance and Flexibility:
•tEnsure regular, predictable attendance.
•tBe willing to work overtime as required to meet business needs.
•tPerform additional work as necessary by the business.

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:
•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.
•\tAbility to use hand tools.
•\tAttention to detail and commitment to quality.
•\tAbility to communicate in English orally and through written means.
•\tWillingness to adapt to changing work requirements.
•\tMust be willing to undergo vision testing depending on customer requirements
•\tBasic understanding of blueprints and schematics, including tolerances.

Preferred Qualifications:
•\tPrevious experience in manufacturing.
•\tAbility to operate machinery effectively.
•\tIPC Solder Certification.
•\tBasic computer skills.

Physical Demands:
Stationary 75% / Mobility 25% (may lift up to 25lbs alone – then with a partner/life machine)

Production Floor
