Trim Saw Operator Weekday 1st Shift 6:00am - 6:30pm

Job Description:

Job Summary:
The duties of this position are performed to trim the unusable portions of the completed honeycomb blocks after production processing. This section of the block is needed during prior processing.

Summary of Duties
tRemove honeycomb blocks from the frames after the coating and curing processes are complete
tDismantle frames, relocate and store per requirements
tLoad the block to the saw table with forklift and secure to the table
tLabel the block with the required lot number using the appropriate labeling method
•tOperate the saw to trim off the unusable section of the block
•tRemove trimmed block and store in appropriate area
•tmachine to work order specified dimensions and palletize completed panels for shipping.
•tOther tasks include completion of production documentation, quality control and housekeeping activities
tRequires little to no experience, but requires willingness to learn and perform to standard expectations
tConducts routine tasks as directed
tMinimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgmentt
Participate in operational improvement activities

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Computer Skills:
\tBasic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). All employees are expected to utilize company email and other company business applications.
Other Skills:
\tMust be willing to work as a team member
\tEffective oral and written communications skills
\tDemonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
\tProblem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.

Additional Preferred Skills:
Forklift operation certification and operation may be required.
Position requires some heavy lifting with mechanical and human assistance
