An aircraft paint detailer (or aviation detailer) cleans, polishes, and protects aircraft exterior paint, brightwork, and interiors to maintain safety and aesthetic standards. Responsibilities include washing fuselages, buffing painted surfaces, cleaning cockpits, and cleaning cabin upholstery, requiring specialized products and strict adherence to safety/regulatory guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of aviation, automotive, or industrial paint/detailing experience
- Experience with HVLP spray systems and aircraft coating systems
- Knowledge of composite and aluminum surface preparation
